Online Absence Form
The Education (Welfare) Act, 2000 requires parents to inform the school if their children will be absent from school on a school day and the reason for the absence.
The Act also requires schools to report on school attendance. Schools are required to inform the Child and Family Agency’s educational welfare services if a child is absent for more than 20 days in a school year.
To facilitate this we now accept the completion of the below online form or a written note to your child’s class teacher. Please note the school may follow up and check absences as they deem necessary.

We are a Catholic school under the patronage of the Bishop of Kilmore. We are also a DEIS Band 1 school as designated by the Department of Education and Skills. 
There are 260 wonderful pupils, boys and girls in classes from Junior Infants to sixth. We encourage our pupils to partake of a variety of activities – musical, dramatic, sporting, artistic, as well as academic.
