On Sunday the 2nd of February, members of fifth and sixth class took part in the CBOI Peace Proms concert in the RDS, Dublin. This was a fantastic experience for the children, as they had the opportunity to sing a brilliant repertoire of songs together with over 2,500 other children from all over Ireland. The huge choir of school children was accompanied by the amazingly talented Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland, under the baton of renowned choral conductor Greg Beardsell. It was certainly a day to remember for everyone!! Well done to all our participants on their brilliant behaviour and attitude throughout the rehearsals and concert. A special word of thanks to Ms. Busby, Mrs. Sheenan and Ms. Moore for making this day possible for their classes.
We are a Catholic school under the patronage of the Bishop of Kilmore. We are also a DEIS Band 1 school as designated by the Department of Education and Skills. 
There are 260 wonderful pupils, boys and girls in classes from Junior Infants to sixth. We encourage our pupils to partake of a variety of activities – musical, dramatic, sporting, artistic, as well as academic.
